Huntingdon, Pa. - For the third season in a row, Juniata women's soccer player Nikki McLellan (Parkland/Hanover) was named All-Commonwealth Conference Team as selected by the conference's eight head coaches. She becomes the first player in the history of Juniata's women's soccer to be named all-conference three times. The past two seasons, McLellan was recognized as a forward earning first-team honors last season, and second-team laurels as a freshman; this year she was honored as a midfielder and earned second-team recognition.

Despite adapting to a new position and missing a pair of due to injury, McLellan was able to finish in the top-10 in the Commonwealth in several offensive categories. She finished sixth in the conference in assists with six and scored nine goals on the season, good for a 10th place finish. Her 24 points was the ninth-best tally in the Commonwealth Conference.

McLellan scored her first her first goal of the season and added two assists in Juniata's win over Mt. Aloysius. She followed that up with a pair of goals in Juniata's next game, scoring the only two goals in Juniata's loss to Widener. Her scoring streak would continue, as McLellan scored the lone goal in the Eagle's 1-0 win over Lycoming.

Her next three goals would all come against Lincoln as she posted a hat trick in Juniata's win. The junior then had two assists against both Wilkes and Pitt-Bradford to bring her season total to six.

McLellan capped her season by scoring two goals in Juniata's season finale against Moravian.

With McLellan pacing the team Juniata finished the 2004 season with a 6-11-1 record. Juniata overcame the loss of 13 players from last season's team and still fell just one victory shy of matching the program record for wins in a season.
