HUNTINGDON, Pa. - Two experts on diversity, Jen De Coste and Brian Johnson, will present a workshop, \"Power and Authenticity\" at Juniata College at 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22 in the Sill Board Room in the von Liebig Center for Science on the Juniata campus. The workshop is free and open to the public. The workshop will focus on how members of a \"majority\" group can work together with members of minority groups to implement positive changes in policies relating to diversity and inclusion. Jen De Coste is director of institutional equity and diversity at Penn State Altoona. She has instituted a number of diversity programs at the Altoona campus, including forming a diversity council for the campus. She also is active in diversity issues within Blair County as a member of \"Diversity is Good Business,\" a council of Blair County business leaders who meet monthly to discuss diversity issues. Brian Johnson is director of multicultural affairs and special assistant to the president at Susquehanna University. He has worked at Susquehanna since 2001 and also owns a business Manna Unlimited Motivations, which is an association for professional motivational speakers. He is a member of the university\'s presidential task force on inclusiveness and diversity. He also helped found the Pennsylvania Consortium of Multicultural Minority and Diversity Affairs Personnel.
