TOWSON, Md. -- The Juniata College women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to Goucher College, in a Landmark Conference match Saturday afternoon in Towson, Md. Maggie Wolenter (Audubon, N.J./Audubon) posted Juniata's only victory on the afternoon, with a 6-2, 7-5, win over Goucher's Joan Pulupa at #1 singles. The Eagles lost all three doubles matches, then fell to the Gophers in #2 through #5 singles. Juniata defaulted on #6 singles. Juniata returns to the courts on April 3, when it travels to Erie, Pa., to face Penn State-Behrend.
