MADISON, N.J. -- Juniata College's 0-for-5 shooting over the last five minutes of the second half allowed Drew University to force overtime and eventually post a 65-60 win over the Eagles, in Landmark Conference women's basketball action on Saturday afternoon in Madison, N.J.

Juniata (7-9, 1-4 Landmark) led 52-45 following a put-back layup by Jen Hnatuck (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) with 5:29 left in regulation. However the Eagles were held without a field goal attempt over the next two-and-a-half minutes of play, and then failed to convert any of their five attempts after that.

Meanwhile, Drew scored seven unanswered points down the stretch, eventually tying the game at 52-52 on Laura Methvin's layup with a minute on the clock.

In overtime, the Rangers (8-6, 2-3 Landmark) took the lead for good on Jessica DelVecchio's layup with 3:08 remaining, and Danielle Barber's three-pointer with under two minutes on the clock made the game a two possession contest at 61-56.

A trey by Meagan Raville (McSherrystown, Pa./Delone Catholic) cut the margin to 61-59. The Eagles began fouling in an effort to catch the Rangers, but Drew went 4-for-4 at the free-throw line over the final minute to defend its lead.

Kelly Ashcraft (Bellefonte, Pa./State College Area) led the Eagles with 15 points with seven rebounds, while Claudia McDowell (Alexandria, Pa./Juniata Valley) had 13 points with four steals. Hnatuck also grabbed seven boards to go with 11 points.

Drew was led by Danielle Barber with 24 points, with an 11-of-12 mark at the charity stripe.
