Juniata women's swimming to offer youth swim lesson program
(Posted March 6, 2009)
HUNTINGDON, Pa. â?" With summer approaching and kids anxious to return to the pool and the lake, the Juniata College women's swimming team will be holding spring swimming lesson programs for boys and girls in late March.
The lesson programs will run from March 23-26 and March 30-April 2 at the Binder Natatorium in Juniata's Kennedy Sports + Recreation Center. Time will be 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. daily, Monday through Thursday. Children must be age four or older to participate.
Instruction will be based on the swimming ability of each child, with six levels of instruction to insure that each child is placed in the appropriate level.
The cost for all eight days of the program is $50.00 per child, or $40.00 per child if two or more children from the same family are registered. Checks should be made payable to "Juniata College Women's Swimming Team". Registration will take place Sunday, March 22, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Gibbel Lobby (second floor lobby) of the Kennedy S+RC.
