WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Tied at six a piece, the Juniata College mens' basketball team saw the home team use the next 8:40 of first half to jump to a 32-11 lead and cruise to the 92-66 victory, in Lamade Gymnasium on the campus of Lycoming College, Tuesday evening.

The Warriors' lead grew to as many as 28 in the first half, as they used another 10-2 spurt to go up 45-17 with under two minutes remaining in the first half. The Eagles were trailing 47-22 at the buzzer.

The lead remained in the twenties for the majority of the second half before Lycoming (7-1, 1-1 Commonwealth) stretched it to as many at 31 three quarters of the way into the second half.

The Eagles had three members in double digits led by the two seniors. Jeff Berkey (Stoystown, Pa./Shaksville-Stonycreek) finished with 13 points on 5-9 shooting, 3-5 from beyond the three-point arc.

Ryan Jones (Coudersport, Pa./Coudersport) tallied 11 points with a team high five rebounds. He also chipped with three assists, tying the team high. He shot 5-10 from the floor in 22 minutes of action.

Sophomore starter Dan Sekulski (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone Area) was the other player with double figures as he put in 10 points on 5-9 shooting.

Eric Anthony led all scorers with 21 points for the Warriors. He shot 3-6 from beyond the arc. Ishaan Davis totaled 20 points in 19 minutes off the bench. Will Kelly finished with a double-double as he scored 14 points and added 10 rebounds in 16 minutes.

Juniata falls to 5-4 overall with the loss and will have a short break before returning to action December 20, when they travel to Washington and Jefferson College for their final game before the New Year.
