LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Juniata Seniors, Anthony Damiano and Zach Wanner were named to the AVCA Division III Men's Volleyball All-America teams announced on April 12, 2010. Damiano clinched First Team All-America laurels, while Wanner made Second Team All-America. All selections were made by the AVCA Men's Division III Volleyball All-America Committee.

Damiano as the libero piled up 270 digs over 22 matches ranking him fifth nationally and second in the EIVA standings in digs. Most recently, Damiano was named to the EIVA Division III All-Star team. In his four seasons, Damiano has accumulated 773 digs, ranking second in career digs and first in digs during the rally-scoring era in Juniata program history. This is Damiano's first time being honored as an AVCA All-American.

Wanner, an opposite finished first on the team with kills this season with 325 and logged 994 career kills. Wanner ranks among the nation's best in kills per set with a 3.92 average. In the 2010 season, Wanner tallied 169 digs, bringing his career total to 410 digs also accumulated nine solo blocks and 35 blocking assists with a total of 24 solo blocks and 109 blocking assists for his four seasons played with the Eagles. Wanner was second on the team with 22 service aces, which give him a grand total of 60 career service aces. Earlier this season Wanner was named EIVA Tait Player of the Week (Week of February 15) for his efforts against two conference foes. This marks the first time Wanner has received All-American honors.

Damiano and Wanner were two of 20 All-Americans from 10 different schools. Both will be traveling to the Molton Invitational awards banquet on April 15, 2010 in Kenosha, Wis. to except their awards on April 15, 2010.
