Towson, Md. -- In Landmark Conference men's soccer action, Juniata College shutout Goucher College 1-0 Saturday afternoon in Towson, Md.

After 67 scoreless minutes, Juniata midfielder Luke Waddell (Muncy, Pa./Muncy) found the back of the net for the game-winning goal with an assist from Noah Bowers (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley).

Greg Hess (Hanover, Pa./South Western) had a shot on goal, and Bowers had two. Waddell finished on his second shot of the game.

Juniata outshot Goucher 9-5 and Goucher had an 8-5 advantage in corner kicks.

Juniata keeper Ezra Cassell (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) made two saves in 90 minutes of work. Joe Kon played the full 90 minutes and made four saves for the Gophers.

Next, Juniata travels to non-conference opponent Grove City College in Grove City, Pa. this Tuesday to play a 4:00 pm. game.
