HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College men's volleyball tied for fourth place with New York University in this week's AVCA Division III Top 15 Coaches Poll, after a win to Sacred Heart and a loss to Princeton over the weekend.

Fourth-ranked Juniata (13-10, 6-0 EIVA Hay) totaled 189 points in the voting, to tie with NYU (13-7) for the spot. Springfield (10-11) finished with 234 points and received eleven first-place votes in the balloting.

Nazareth College (22-3) was second with 220 points and three first place votes, followed by Carthage (18-9) with two first place votes for third place.

UC Santa Cruz (7-12), Philadelphia Biblical (20-8), Baruch (28-12), Medaille (21-4), and MIT (27-6) round out the top ten for the poll.

Rivier (27-8), Stevens (14-9), Emmanuel (24-7), Vassar (16-9), SUNY New Paltz (16-11) complete the 15 teams in the poll.

Juniata posted a 3-0 win over EIVA Hay Division rival Sacred Heart University on Saturday, March 19. The Eagles then traveled to Princeton, N.J. to fall to the Tigers in three sets. Juniata will host Philadelphia Biblical Friday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m.
