Hilton Head, S.C. - The Juniata College men's tennis team's spring trip to Hilton Head, S.C. could not have gone much better as the Eagles capped the trip with a 7-2 victory over Eastern Nazarene Thursday morning. Juniata closes the trip with a record of 3-0.

For the second-consecutive match Juniata earned five wins in singles competition and posted a pair of victories on the doubles courts.

The tightest singles match for Juniata was at the second singles spot as John Skoner (Central Catholic/Pittsburgh) claimed a win in three sets by scores of 6-4, 1-6, 6-2.

The remaining victories all came in straight sets.
Brian Sykes (Gateway Regional/Woodburry Heights, N.J.) was a winner at three singles by scores of 6-3, 6-1. Brandon Long (Lebanon/Lebanon) flipped those scores at fourth singles as he posted a 6-1, 6-3 victory. Ryan Navarro (Bishop Guilfoyle/Altoona) was a 6-2, 6-1 winner at fifth singles and Jonathan Cohen (Highland Regional/Hollywood, Fla.) rounded out the win with a 6-2, 6-2 triumph at sixth singles.

The Eagles put themselves in front early in the match by taking two of the three doubles matches. Sykes and Cohen rolled to an 8-3 victory at second doubles. Also claiming a win were Skoner and Jack Walfish (Spring-Ford/Royersford) who posted an 8-2 win at third doubles.
With the trip now complete, Juniata returns to action March 17 with a home match against conference foe Albright.
