LANCASTER, Pa. - The Juniata College women\'s swimming team enjoyed a strong second day at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational as the Eagles claimed 38 points on the final day to earn a 10th-place finish among 11 teams. Juniata finished the two-day event with 89 points, one more than the 11th-place team. Juniata got its highest finish of the two-day event from senior Amy Sutherland (Norwich/Norwich, N.Y.) who placed sixth in the 200 backstroke. She also earned points for Juniata with a 13th-place performance in the 500 freestyle. Kasey Brough (Carlise/Gardners) also scored in the event with a 16th-place effort. Brough also earned a top-10 finish in an individual event as she placed ninth in the mile. Collin Thompson (Altoona/Altoona) added a 16th-place finish in the event for Juniata as well. Rounding out the individual scoring for Juniata was Carlie Zoubek (Paul IV/Burke, Va.) who touched the wall in 15th-position in the 200 breaststroke. The Eagles also picked up points in a relay on the day. The team of Sutherland, Zoubek, Kristin Musselman (Central Columbia/Bloomsburg) and Colleen Cribbs (Fort Washington/Fort Washington, Md.) swam to a 15th-place finish in the 400 free relay. Juniata returns to action on Saturday with a non-conference dual meet at Lock Haven. ###
