HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College board of trustees has added four new members to begin the 2007-2008 academic year. The new trustees appointed to begin service Sept. 1, 2007 through August 2010 are: Nathaniel Ehrlich (alumni trustee) of Wyomissing, Pa.; Gail Habacker of Conshohocken, Pa.; Rodney O\'Donnell, of Royersford, Pa.; and (church trustee) Pamela Reist of Mount Joy, Pa. Nathaniel \"Ned\" Ehrlich, a native of Wyomissing, Pa. and an attorney and partner at the law firm of Anapol, Schwartz, Weiss, Cohan, Feldman and Smalley in Philadelphia, Pa., graduated from Juniata in 1980 with a bachelor\'s degree in history. He went on to earn a law degree in 1983 from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa. Before his law career, Ehrlich worked extensively as an athletic trainer, including as a student trainer for all sports at Juniata from 1976 to 1980. He went on to work as a student trainer for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1979 and as an assistant trainer for the Miami Dolphins during the 1980 pre-season. During law school, he also worked as an assistant to the Staff Counsel for the National Football League Players Association in Washington, D.C. from 1981 to 1982. Ehrlich focuses his law practice on personal injury and workers\' compensation cases throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Drawing on his experience as an athletic trainer, Ehrlich also specializes in workers\' compensation claims for professional athletes in football, basketball, hockey, baseball, soccer and lacrosse. He is approved by and provides counsel to members of the National Football League Players Association, the Professional Hockey Players Association, the National Hockey League Players Association, the Professional Lacrosse Players Association, the Major League Baseball Players Association, and the National Basketball Players Association. He has been with his present law firm since 1994. He was an attorney with the law firm Post & Schell from 1984 to 1994, and was named a partner in 1990. Directly after law school, he served as law clerk from 1983 to 1984 for Judge Alfred DiBona Jr., Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. He also retains his rating as an NATA Certified Athletic Trainer. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association Ethics Committee, the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Association, the Sports Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association Sports Law Committee. He has made presentations and lectures on sports medicine and athletic workers\' compensation issues across the country. Gail Habecker, a native of Ligonier, Pa. and a principal for PMG Advisors in West Conshohocken, Pa., graduated from Juniata in 1976 with a bachelor\'s degree in music. She went on to earn a bachelor\'s degree in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania\'s Wharton School of Business in 1981. In 1981 she received the Class of 1972 Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement from the University of Pennsylvania. She also earned status as a chartered financial analyst in 1992. She is a member of the board of directors for the Church of the Brethren Benefit Trust and chair of the board\'s investment committee. She also is a past treasurer of the Immaculata Symphony in Immaculata, Pa. and volunteers at the Chester County Library. She is a member of the CFA Institute and Financial Analysts of Philadelphia. Her husband, Dr. Perry L. Habecker, V.M.D., is also a 1976 Juniata graduate. Rodney O\'Donnell, a senior sales representative with BBL Co., a company specializing in pipe products, graduated from Juniata College in 1964, earning a bachelor\'s degree. He also studied at American University from 1964 to 1966. He is a licensed minister at the Green Tree Church of the Brethren in Oaks, Pa. He has worked in his present job since 2004. From 2001 to 2004, he was national sales manager for Tioga Pipe Supply in Philadelphia, Pa. He was national accounts manager for Tubular Steel Inc. in Fairless Hills, Pa. from 1986 to 2001. He also worked at Bassett Steel & Tube Inc. in King of Prussia, Pa. from 1976 to 1985. He started his career in 1967 as a senior manager for Dun and Bradstreet Inc., a position he held until 1976. He is a member of the Steel Service Center Institute. O\'Donnell and his wife, Joan, have seven children. Two daughters, Laura and Emily graduated from Juniata in 2002 and 2006, respectively. His son, Benjamin, is currently a sophomore at the college. Pamela Reist, a Church of the Brethren minister from Mount Joy, Pa., is associate pastor at the Lititz Church of the Brethren, in Lititz, Pa., a post she has held since 2004. Prior to that she served as pastor of Christian nurture from 2001 to 2004 and as director of Christian nurture from 2000 to 2001. She has started her religious service career in 1991 as minister of Christian education at Mount Joy Mennonite Church, a post she held until 1999. She earned a bachelor\'s degree in foreign languages in 1975 from Findlay College (now University) in Findlay, Ohio. She took graduate courses through Eastern Mennonite Seminary in Harrisonburg, Va. from 1991 to 2000, and through Bethany Theological Seminary in Richmond, Ind. from 2000 to 2004. She earned a master\'s degree in religion in 2004 from Lancaster Theological Seminary, in Lancaster, Pa. She has been active in her professional and civic communities. She has served on the district board for the Atlantic Northeast District of the Church of the Brethren since 2005. She also serves on the District Ministry Commission, and was named vice chairperson in 2006. She also served on the Congregational Nurture Commission of the Lancaster Mennonite Conference from 1995 to 2000, serving as chairperson from 1999 to 2000.
