HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Matt Brady's goal in the 102nd minute lifted Catholic University to a 2-1 win over Juniata College, in Landmark Conference men's soccer action on Saturday at Winton Hill Field in Huntingdon, Pa.

Brady gained possession of the ball at the top of the box, and beat Juniata keeper Joe Kohler (Vienna, Va./James Madison) with a shot into the lower left corner of the goal.

In the first overtime period, Kohler denied Brady on a penalty kick opportunity in the 94th minute, eventually sending the game into a second extra session.

Juniata (5-5-1, 0-1-1 Landmark) opened the scoring in the 28th minute when Drew Steffen (Lewisberry, Pa./Red Land) scored from eight-yards out amidst a scramble in front of Catholic keeper Quinn Daly.

The Cardinals (8-1-0, 2-0-0 Landmark) knotted the game at 1-1 in the second minute of the second half on Kyle Bakas' attempt from nine yards away.

Catholic outshot the Eagles 18-14, while Juniata edged the Cardinals 9-8 in corner kick opportunities. Kohler finished the day with six saves, while Daly logged three on the Cardinals' behalf.

Juniata's next contest will be on Wednesday, Oct. 8, when the Eagles travel to Carlisle, Pa., to face Dickinson College.
