HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Three Juniata College student-athletes have been recognized with Landmark Conference Player of the Week honors, for their performances in the week ending November 9.

Sophomore forward Paula Price (Camp Hill, Pa.) and senior goalie Abby Funk (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg) were named the Landmark Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, after leading Juniata to its second consecutive Landmark Conference championship.

Price scored both goals in Juniata's 2-1 double overtime victory over Catholic University in Saturday's championship game, including the game winner barely five minutes into the second OT period. Funk played all 95 minutes in the Juniata cage, recording seven saves. She also had a pair of saves in Wednesday's semifinal win over Susquehanna, and finished the week with a 0.85 goals against average and .818 save percentage.

Senior setter Beth Kozak (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) was named the Landmark's Women's Volleyball Player of the Week, after turning in a pair of strong performances while helping Juniata record its 28th-consecutive conference championship. Kozak passed out 22 assists in Saturday's 3-0 championship match win over Susquehanna University, with a pair of aces and four digs. She also tallied 19 assists in a 3-0 semifinal win over Moravian College.

Juniata women's volleyball (31-4) opens NCAA Regional play on Thursday, Nov. 13, against D'Youville College, at the Kennedy Sports + Recreation Center in Huntingdon.
