MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- Senior Kelsey Buffenmyer (Mount Joy, Pa./Donegal) provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in the high jump, to highlight Juniata College performances at the West Virginia University Holiday Classic indoor track meet on Saturday in Morgantown, W.Va.

Buffenmyer cleared the bar at 5-5 ¼ (1.66 m), and nearly cleared 1.69m on her final attempt. She also won the long jump competition in Morgantown, with a jump of 5.13m.

Katie Tavenner (Oaks, Pa./Spring-Ford) was third in the women's weight throw with a best effort of 10.47m, rounding out the list of Juniata competitors to finish among the top three in their event. Tavenner was also seventh in the shot put with a throw of 9.83m.

On the men's side, Juniata was led by Ryan Johnson's (Mountaintop, Pa./Crestwood) sixth place finish in the men's weight throw. Johnson's best throw was 12.04m, just ahead of Josh Cavender (Elizabethtown, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) in seventh place with a throw of 10.50m.
