SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Once again it was junior Ceth Parker (Sabillasville, Md./Catoctin) and freshman Katrina Woods (Shirleysburg, Pa./Mount Union) who set the pace for the Juniata cross country teams on Saturday morning at the Slippery Rock Invitational.

Parker finished 34th with a time of 27:01. He was followed by freshman Nate Alter (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice) and fellow junior Nik Klena (Franklin, Pa./Oil City). Alter posted a time of 27:45 for 50th place, while Klena's 28:10 placed him 64th.

In the women's race, Woods covered course in 24:17, finishing 20th. Sophomore Caroline Morgan (Havertown, Pa./Haverford Township) came in close behind Woods, finishing 25th with a time of 24:42. Casey Hoffman (Coplay, Pa./Parkland Senior) ran a 26:53 giving her an 85th place finish.

Juniata will travel to Towson, Md. next week to participate in the Goucher College Invitational. Goucher College is also the site of the Landmark Conference Cross Country Championship held on October 30th.
