CARLISLE, Pa. -- Dickinson College capitalized on three second-half scoring opportunities to lift the Red Devils 3-0 over Juniata College women's soccer, under the lights Wednesday night in Carlisle, Pa.

Ashley Kunkle kicked off the scoring flurry in the 71st minute, assisted by Marissa Kunkle and Genevieve Olson. In the very next minute, Olson was assisted by Hannah Richardson. Olson then had the third goal for the Red Devils in the 80th minute assisted by Samantha Friday.

The first half was filled with neck and neck competition between the Red Devils and the Eagles. Juniata's best scoring opportunities of the game came in the contest's opening minutes. However, Dickinson offense got a good look at the goalmouth and finished three goals in the span of about ten minutes.

Dickinson outshot Juniata 22-3, and edged the Eagles 5-0 on corner kicks.

Juniata keeper Kristen Penska (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) recorded six saves over her 90 minutes in goal. Dickinson's Annie Weichert and Edie Riggs shared the responsibility for goalkeeping duties, with Weichert logging saves on all three Juniata shots on goal.

The Eagles will return to the pitch at Winton Hill Field on Saturday, Oct. 9, when they face The Catholic University of America for "Senior Day" at 1:00 pm.
