HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Just two minutes into the match, the Cardinals disrupted Juniata College women's soccer this Saturday at Winton Hill Field, ending in a final loss for the Eagles 2-0.

Lauren Cadott found the back of the net in the second minute for the Cardinals with an assist from Mary McGann. Mcgann also assisted the second goal in the 57th minute by Courtney Orgill.

Offensive opportunities for the Eagles came from Caitlin Bigelow (La Mesa, Calif./The Academy of Our Lady of Peace) with four shots, while Molly Sellars (Caldwell, Nj./Caldwell) and Tatiana Hinaman (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore) each had two.

Catholic outshot Juniata 19-10 and held a 12-5 advantage in corner kicks.

Kristen Penska (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) kept the Eagles in the match today, playing all but the opening 45 seconds, making nine saves total. Senior, Lauren Auster-Gussman (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Country Day), who was injured in the pre-season started in the net today and made one save in the opening minute. Christina Cassidy tallied three saves for the Cardinals in all 90 minutes of play.

The Eagles hope to improve their non-conference record when they take on Penn State-Harrisburg Wednesday, October 13th at 4 pm. at Winton Hill Field.
