KINGS POINT, N.Y. -- Juniata College completed an undefeated sweep of Landmark Conference opponents with a 3-1 win over Catholic University, Sunday morning at the United States Merchant Marine Academy in the second of two Landmark Conference round-robin weekends.

Set scores for the Eagles were 25-11, 25-17, 22-25, and 25-21.

Juniata (23-3, 6-0 Landmark), ranked third in this week's AVCA Division III Top 25 poll, clinched the top seed for upcoming Landmark Conference tournament. The Eagles receive a bye through the first round, and will host the semifinals and championship match on Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Kennedy Sports + Recreation Center in Huntingdon.

Sophomore opposite Kelsey Fuller (Red Lion, Pa./Red Lion) led Juniata offensively with 15 kills, while junior middle Amanda Schmidt (Boswell, Pa./North Star) picked up some points at the net for the Eagles with three blocks.

Junior libero Libby Morrison (Portland, Ore./Oregon Episcopal School) turned up 17 digs in the win, while freshman Courtney Greenberg (Fort Myers, Fla./Fort Myers) came into the match and served up three aces.

"Catholic played us real well â?" they played us tough and made us earn our points today," said Juniata head coach Larry Bock.

Juniata returns to action on Tuesday, Oct. 19, when it travels to California, Pa., to take on California University of Pennsylvania.
