HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Three Juniata College women's volleyball student-athletes were named to All-America teams while a fourth earned honorable mention distinction on the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America teams, unveiled on Tuesday.

Senior middle Kristin Noetzel (Closter, N.J./Northern Valley Regional) was a First team All-America selection, while senior setter Steph Strauss (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills) was named to the Second team. Junior libero Libby Morrison (Portland, Ore./Oregon Episcopal School) earned a spot on the Third team.

Noetzel and Morrison are both first-time selections to the AVCA Division III All-America teams, while Strauss earned her third All-America accolade.

Noetzel tallied 267 kills (2.43/set) and 89 blocks (0.82/set) this season, and led the Eagles with 343.0 points over 108 sets played. Strauss averaged 9.88 assists per set while running a Juniata offense that hit .266 this season. Defensively, she turned up 191 digs (1.95/set); offensively, she averaged 1.88 kills per set and finished with 36 blocks (0.37/set). In her first season with the Eagles, Morrison sprawled for 649 digs (5.11/set). She also led Juniata with 65 service aces, averaging 0.51 per set.

Sophomore opposite Kelsey Fuller (Red Lion, Pa./Red Lion) received Honorable mention All-America distinction, after earning AVCA Mid-Atlantic Region Freshman of the Year honors a year ago. Fuller was third on the team in kills with 255 (2.43/set), and second in digs with 266 (2.53/set) with a hand in 36 blocks.

The AVCA All-America teams consist of three teams of 14 players, chosen from among the players on the AVCA's eight All-Region teams. All remaining All-Region players not named to an All-America squad earn honorable mention distinction.

Sixth-seeded Juniata (33-5), champions of the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship Frostburg Regional, will face third-seeded University of St. Thomas, Minn. (30-6) in an NCAA tournament national quarterfinal on Friday, Nov. 19, at the Washington University Field House in St. Louis, Mo. The match is slated to start at 1:30 p.m. ET.
