Complete 2010 Swarthmore Invitational results

SWARTHMORE, Pa. -- Juniata College freshmen Kathryn Viola (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) and Falon Snyder (Walnutport, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) each posted a pair of top ten finishes, as the Eagles finished seventh out of 11 teams at the Swarthmore College Invitational, Friday and Saturday in Swarthmore, Pa.

Snyder had the top individual Juniata finish of the meet, finishing third in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:17.11. She also placed 10th in the 100 Backstroke, posting a time of 1:05.17.

Viola notched a fifth place finish in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:11.06, and later finished eighth in the 200 Breaststroke with a mark of 2:37.25. Her time in the 100 Breaststroke was just four seconds off the winning mark of 1:07.01 set by Rowan standout Stacey Rahter. Viola also finished 14th in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 26.45.

Fellow freshman Kelsey Miles (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) posted a 14th-place finish in both the 200 Freestyle (2:07.67) and the 100 Freestyle (58.54), and was 21st in the 50 Free (26.91).
