KING'S POINT, N.Y. -- The Juniata College women's swimming team has now earned 128 points in day two of the 2011 Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, held at the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Saturday afternoon.

Juniata has a 30-point lead over Goucher College, and falls 37 points behind Drew University.

Today's highlights include one very special event in Juniata history. Kelsey Miles (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) beat the 2005 Juniata school record in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:57.09 and took third place for 12 points.

The squad took sixth place in the 200 Medley Relay in 2:00.47 for 18 points, and fourth in the 800 Freestyle Relay for 22 points.

Falon Snyder (Walnutport, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) finished the 100 Butterfly in 1:04.70 for two points. She completed the 100 Backstroke in 1:04.31 for nine points and sixth place.

Kathryn Viola (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) finished the 100 Breaststroke in 1:10.05 for 11 points and fourth place

The final day of the competition continues Sunday, in King's Point, N.Y.
