HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College women's basketball will host Catholic University of America in a Landmark Conference Women's Basketball Tournament semifinal, Wednesday night at the Kennedy Sports + Recreation Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for general admission, and $3 for students and senior citizens (62 and older). Children under 10 are admitted free. Students from any Landmark Conference institution are also admitted free of charge.

Juniata (19-6, 12-2 Landmark), the tournament's number one seed, brings a nine-game winning streak into Wednesday night's clash with Catholic (17-8, 9-5 Landmark). The Eagles are led by senior forward Jen Hnatuck (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity), who is averaging 12.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per game, and freshman forward Kate McDonald (Pennsylvania Furnace, Pa./State College Area) with 10.2 points and 8.2 boards per game.

Fourth-seeded Catholic will be making its first appearance in the Landmark Conference women's basketball tournament. The Cardinals will also be playing in their first post-season contest since 2007, when Catholic fell to Salisbury in the quarterfinals of the Capital Athletic Conference tournament.

The winner of Wednesday's Juniata-Catholic semifinal will face the winner of the other semifinal between Moravian College and the University of Scranton. That game will take place on Saturday, Feb. 26.

Wednesday night marks the second time Juniata has hosted a Landmark Conference tournament game. The Eagles last hosted a semifinal in 2008, when Juniata defeated Moravian, 61-59.
