DOYLESTOWN, Pa. -- Juniata College men's soccer earned a hard fought 2-1 road win over Delaware Valley College to get back to the .500 mark on Monday.

Juniata (4-4-0, 0-2-0 Landmark) got on the board in the 67th minute when Dane Azeles (Duncansville, Pa./Hollidaysburg) found sure-footed senior Jeff Gring (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley), who drove it home for his fourth mark this season.

The game winner came unassisted from sophomore Anthony Glossner (Centre Hall, Pa./Penns Valley) in the 85th minute when he pegged it by Aggie keeper DJ Meisinger from 25 yards out.

Delaware Valley's lone goal was in the 88th minute from Tom Masterson, assisted by Josh Burnside.

The Eagles outshot the Aggies 17-12 and posted a 6-1 corner kick advantage over Delaware Valley (4-6-0, 0-1-0 MAC).

Junior Ezra Cassel (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) was in charge of the Juniata net for all 90 minutes and tallied five saves.

Juniata travels to Moravian College for a Landmark Conference contest Saturday, Oct. 8, with kickoff slated for 1:00 p.m.
