MEN'S BASKETBALL (13-10, 7-5 Commonwealth): Feb 18 vs. Lebanon Valley*; Feb 22 at Moravian*.

*Commonwealth Conference game.
The Eagles won two games and lost one on the week and kept themselves in position to earn a shot at the conference postseason tournament. The Eagles topped conference foe Albright on the road 76-74. Craig Biller (Penn Cambria/Loretto) notched a team-high 16 points to lead four Eagles in double figures. Tommy McConnell (Bishop Guilfoyle/Hollidaysburg), Travis Martin (Huntingdon/Huntingdon) and Josh Tyler (Bellwood Antis/Altoona) each scored 12 points in the victory. Neil Holloway (Tussey Mountain/Saxton) had a team-high seven rebounds. The Eagles also picked up a victory, 75-60, over non-conference foe Villa Julie. Again there were four Eagles in double figures, led by Holloway and Martin with 16 points. Biller and Jeff Lau (York Catholic/Glen Rock) had 15 and 12 points respectively. Holloway and Martin each had seven rebounds for Juniata, McConnell had a team-high four assists and Holloway also added five steals. Juniata dropped their first game of the week in a 75-56 loss to conference foe Susquehanna. The loss halted a three-game winning streak for Juniata. Travis Boyd (Juniata Valley/Baree) scored a team-high 12 points in the loss, and Holloway was in double figures again with 10. Martin grabbed seven rebounds and McConnell dished out five assists.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL (8-14, 4-8 Commonwealth): Feb 18 vs. Lebanon Valley*; Feb 22 at Moravia*.

One win and one loss on the week for Juniata. The Eagles put a stop to a five-game losing streak as they topped Albright on the road 53-45. Jen Uhrich (Palmyra/Palmyra) shot 7-11 from the field in scoring a game-high 16 points and also grabbed a team-high seven rebounds. Jen LaCount (Westmont Hilltop/Johnstown) was also in double figures with 10 points while adding four assists. Gretchen Hall (Cocalico/Denver) dished out five assists in the victory. Juniata dropped a contest earlier in the week to Susquehanna 52-45. Casey Shoup (Altoona/Altoona) scored a team-high 13 points and passed out six assists for the Eagles. Uhrich was in double figures again with 10 points and was one rebound shy of her sixth "double-double" of the season as she grabbed nine boards.

WOMEN'S SWIMMING (10-2, 6-2 MAC):
Juniata College put a close on their superb regular season with a fourth-place finish at the MAC swimming championships. The fourth-place finished matched the best finish in the program's history at the MAC Championships. Kim Allen (Susquehanna Twp./Harrisburg) earned two first-place individual finishes en route to a team-best 56 points. The Eagles had four swimmers earn at least 40 points. Senior Cyndi Long (Emmaus/Emmaus) had 52.5 points on the strength of seven point-producing finishes. Kathy Trainor (Upper Merion/King of Prussia) had a second-place finish among her point-scoring finishes while earning 49 points. Alissa Schneider (Mililani/Mililani, Hawaii) tallied 42.5 points with a fifth-place finish being her highest individual finish. The Eagles had nine swimmers earn points at the meet. Andrea Nulton (Tyrone Area/Tyrone) picked up 25.5 points, Amy Hanson (Lancaster Catholic/Elizabethtown) had 12.5 points, Kim Dierolf (Boyertown Area/Barto) added 12 points for the Eagles, Dana Gais (Kiski Area/Saltsburg) garnered 22.5 points and Amy Fletcher (Epherta/Epherta) added two points for the Eagles. Juniata finished the three-day event with 284 points.

MEN'S VOLLEYBALL (7-4, 2-4 EIVA): Feb 18 at St. Francis*; Feb 22 vs. Concordia*.

*EIVA Tait Division opponent.
A 2-1 record for Juniata on the week as the Eagles earned their first victory over a Division I opponent with a four-game victory over Princeton. The Eagles topped the Tigers 22-30, 30-28, 30-25, 30-25. Ryan Genova (Antietam/Reading) led the Eagles with 17 kills against Princeton. Kenny Eiser (Central Bucks West/Doylestown) and Chris Jones (Lower Merion/Wayne) each had 12 kills and Neil Lukas (Fairport, NY/East Windsor, NJ) was also in double figures with 11 kills. Ricky Ziegler passed out 48 assists the second-highest assist total of the season for Ziegler. Eiser recorded 12 digs on the defensive side for Juniata, and Lukas added seven digs. Jones led the Eagle blockers with nine blocks, while Cordt Withum (Penn Manor/Holtwood) and Eiser added eight and Lukas had seven. Against Mercyhurst, the Eagles again triumphed in four games, 30-23, 19-30, 30-28, 30-23. Eiser recorded a career-high 23 kills in the win, while Genova had 17 kills again for the Eagles while Ziegler again had 48 assists for the blue and gold. Eiser had nine kills and Genova had eight for the Eagles and Jones had seven blocks. The Eagles also dropped a three-game contest to Rutgers-Newark. Genova and Eiser again led the way with 15 and 14 kills respectively. Ziegler had 22 assists and Lukas had six kills and a match-high 11 digs.
