According to Russ Shelley, the College’s Elma Stine Heckler Professorship of Music, student performers “are curious about how choral music achieves itself. They are insightful as they bring their background to the singing experience. And, they are a joy to work with.”

Juniata’s music students are also “Dedicated, fun decision makers,” according to James Latten, another Juniata professor of music.

“It’s a joy to help build lifelong musicians who will become supporters of the world’s musical arts,” Latten says. “We hope to give them a fantastic music experience, so they continuously support music education for years to come.”
