Huntingdon, PA ? Sophomores Rob Bowser (Dallastown/York) and Jeff Gehring (Exeter-Township/Reading) have each been named to the Commonwealth Conference All-Conference team as picked by the eight conference head coaches.

Gehring led the Eagle team in goals and points as scored eight goals and notched 17 points on the season. His best stretch of the season came in the first month of the season. He scored two goals in three consecutive games, including two goals in Juniata?s 2-0 win over conference opponent Lebanon Valley. He also had two goals in a 2-2 tie against Warner Southern then scored another two goals and had an assist in a win over Mount Aloysius. Gehring then added one goal apiece in contests against York and Pitt-Greensburg.

Bowser scored three goals and recorded three assists on the year for Juniata, as he was tied for second on the team with nine points. Bowser had a goal in Juniata?s season finale against conference opponent Moravian, while also tallying scores in contests against Carnegie Mellon and Mount Aloysius. He assisted on both of Juniata?s goals against Warner Southern. He also assisted Gehring on his goal against York.

The Eagles finished the season with a record of 2-14-1 overall and a mark of 1-6 in conference play.
