After Graduation

Following graduation, Juniata students have a .06 percent rate of default on student loans whereas the national rate is about 8 percent. This suggests our students transition into careers and jobs that provide a solid financial base.

Approximately 1000 participants are chosen annually for their academic merit and leadership potential – with the opportunity to study and teach in each other's countries, exchange ideas, and develop joint solutions to address shared concerns.

NFHCA Academic Team Award; Awarded to teams that complete season with a team GPA of 3.0 or better.

National Institutes of Health Undergraduate Scholarship

Prestigious, competitive national scholarship awarded to only 15 students each year that pays part of recipient's college tuition and guarantees a postdoctoral position at one of the Institute's laboratories. In addition, recipients attend a 10-week summer laboratory experience at one of the NIH labs in Bethesda, Md. after their senior year of college.

NSF Graduate Fellowship

The premier national award for science graduates. About 900 new Fellowships are awarded each year for graduate study leading to research-based master’s or doctoral degrees in the mathematical, physical, biological, engineering, and behavioral and social sciences, including the history of science and the philosophy of science, and to research-based Ph.D. degrees in science education.
