Juniata students simply don't sit back and say, "Teach me" - they are actively engaged in every step of the learning process.
Juniata wants each student to make the most of his or her time with us - which is why we encourage each student to play an active role in creating their own Juniata experience.
The focal point of that experience is the Program of Emphasis (POE), a unique approach to learning that gives each student the opportunity to transform his or her unique, diverse interests into a concentrated program of study.
Juniata also offers a seemingly unlimited amount of real-world experiences like internships, service-learning projects and study abroad opportunities that allow students to explore the world and test-drive potential careers. All of this in addition to the countless clubs, programs and activities.
Given Juniata's unique learning enviroment, it shouldn't be surprising that our students have received numerous national and international honors.
