The Geology Department, its students, and its recent alumni are deeply grateful for the financial resources provided by alumni donations to our Funds to provide meaningful, integrative field experiences to all of our students as they continue on their career path.
We know that Emeritus Professors Mutti, Washburn, and Trexler greatly value field experience as a core part of our geology curriculum from their time at Juniata and afterward, and we appreciate their encouragement and conversations with us about this course.
Without support from these funds, the Expedition: Earth course would not exist. As many of our students have told us, the minimized external cost of the course is a large deciding factor in whether or not to take this course.
We value the continued support from these Funds as we plan our 2020 trip to Montana and 2021 trip to Nova Scotia.
