Shelby's Bio
- Health Communication with a Secondary Emphasis in Spanish, Juniata College
Born and raised near Harrisburg, PA, Shelby first learned about Juniata from her father, a 1980 alumnus. She was enthusiastic about attending Juniata from the start and was happy to find a new home in the beautiful Huntingdon area. She desired the personalized experience Juniata provides for students including the opportunity to truly get to know professors and other faculty. Shelby found her niche studying Health Communication along with Spanish as a secondary emphasis. In addition, she competed on the women’s volleyball team, making it to the national championship match her freshman year. Outside of sports and class, Shelby enjoys the outdoors, visiting her family cabin and going to the movies. Previously, Shelby worked at the Enrollment Center as a tour guide and assistant to our Campus Visit Coordinator. She is now looking forward to working with students from central Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, central New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and Wisconsin.
