Jessica was raised in rural western Pennsylvania. In May of 2010, she graduated from Allegheny College with degrees in both English and Black Studies. Since the summer of 2010, Jessica has worked in the Juniata Enrollment Center. For Pennsylvania, she serves as the Admission Counselor for Berks, Bucks, Philadelphia and Delaware counties. In addition to recruiting in most of the state of Maryland, Jessica is also the counselor for students from Delaware and Texas. Passionate about social justice, Jessica serves as the Multicultural Coordinator for the Enrollment Office. She enjoys reading in her spare time, and her favorite books include Tipping on a Tightrope: Divas in African American Literature, A Song of Ice and Fire and "Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria?": and Other Conversations About Race.
