- AES Engineers is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing $500 scholarships to deserving students. To be eligible the student must answer one of the essay questions on the AES website. Deadline for entry is October 4, 2013.
- American Chemical Society - The scholarship is designed to encourage African-American, Hispanic, and Native American students to pursue undergraduate college degrees in the chemical sciences. The goal of this scholarship program is to promote diversity in the chemical sciences by aiding in building an awareness of college students in these minority groups of the value and rewards associated with careers in science and to assist these students in acquiring skills and credentials needed for success in these areas. - American Association of University Women (State College Branch) announces two 2013-2014 scholarships. The AAUW State College Branch has a long history of awarding its undergraduate scholarships to women who are permanent residents of Centre County and who meet the scholarship criteria. The AAUW seeks applicants for (4) $5,000 undergraduate scholarships to be awarded for 2013-14. Applicants must meet the following degree criteria: be a woman who is a permanent resident of Centre County; has completed at least one-quarter of her baccalaureate or associate degree; has interruped her studies for at least two years; attends an institution of higher education on a part-time or a full-time basis; and can demonstrate financial need, academic promise, clarity of educational goals, and service to the community. - American Association of University Women (Harrisburg, PA Branch) is again announcing two scholarships to be awarded for the Fall 2013 term. The Beverly J. Smith Memorial Scholarship ($2,500) will be awarded to a female resident of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Perry County who attends an accredited college or university in PA. Requirements include: completion of 60 credits, a minimum 3.4 GPA, demonstration of financial need, and enrollment as a full-time student. The Martha M. Dohner Memorial Scholarship ($1,000) will be awarded to a female resident of Dauphin or Cumberland County who attends an accredited college or university in PA. Requirements include: completion of 15 credits, minumum of 3.25 GPA, demonstration of financial need, and enrollment as a full-time student.
- AmeriQuest - AmeriQuest is offering a $1000 scholarship to one high school senior with a unique, thoughtful point-of-view on traffic safety! Application deadline is May 15, 2013.
- ATTSavings.com is offering a new scholarship opportunity. To enter, students must write a Blog post answering the question, "Do you think increased DVR use will cut into TV advertising revenue?" This scholarship is available to all current and prospective students.
- Bedford County Conservation District - A special $500 memorial Scholarship has been established in honor of environmentalist William Plank for his dedication to conservation. The scholarship is available to an undergraduate college student in the field of environmental studies. Applicants should be sophomore, junior or senior status. Applications must be sutmitted no later than May 31, 2013.
- Bedford County Conservation District is offering a $500 scholarship in honor of the late Glen Beach. The scholarship is available to Bedford County High School graduates and/or Bedford County residents that are undergraduate college students in the field of agriculture or environmental studies. Applicants should be sophomore, junior or senior status. Applications must be submitted no later than May 31, 2013.

- The Datatel Scholars Foundation (DSF) awards scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students attending eligible Datatel client institutions. Any outstanding student having a GPA of 3.50 or higher is encouraged to apply for the scholarship. Both full and part-time students are welcome to apply. The application is open to all majors.
- B. Davis Scholarship - The creators of the Student Award Search Aid website are offering a $1,000 scholarship for 2013. The website was developed solely for the purpose of helping students locate and apply for scholarships. The application deadline is May 27, 2013.
- Education Advantage - The scholarship program developed and supported by Baxter for people of any age with hemophilia A. If you're working toward your bachelor's degree, you could be eligible for up to $15,000 per year. If you are a strong applicant but do not qualify for need-based aid, you may still be eligible for a merit-based scholarship of up to $1,000 per year.

- National Eagle Scout Association - There are two types of nationally awarded Eagle Scout scholarships. One type is academic scholarships, which include a varying number of $3,000 scholarships awarded each year by the NESA. The other type of national Eagle Scout scholarship is the Hall/McElwain Merit Scholarship. Each region reviews applications and awards a varying number of these $1,000 scholarships. - U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship Program - One of the biggest challenges students face is how to pay for college. U.S. Bank's Internet Scholarship Program can help. U.S. Bank will award forty $1,000 scholarships through a random drawing process. Undergraduates students attending an eligible four-year college or university are eligible to apply.
- Wootan Grant Program - Beginning April 17, qualified students may begin applying for TG's Charley Wootan Grant Program, which provides one-year grants of up to $4,000. TG will award nearly $5 million in need-based grants to eligible students attending or planning to attend 2-year technical or community colleges, 4-year colleges and universities, or those enrolled in teacher certification programs. TG will award the grants on a first-come, first-served basis. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to qualify.
