  • American Chemical Society - The scholarship is designed to encourage African-American, Hispanic, and Native American students to pursue undergraduate college degrees in the chemical sciences. The goal of this scholarship program is to promote diversity in the chemical sciences by aiding in building an awareness of college students in these minority groups of the value and rewards associated with careers in science and to assist these students in acquiring skills and credentials needed for success in these areas.   • Ampronix- is offering a total of $2,250 to be awarded to three different recipients with first place being $1,000. The deadline to apply is May 31, 2018. Please click on the link for additional information. 
  • Become an Educator Scholarship - This $1,000 scholarship is awarded once per year, to (2) deserving candidates who are working to become a teacher, but don't have the financial means to complete their educational training.  Visit ToBecomeATeacher.org for more information.
  • The Bradley R. Corbett Scholarship is open to any students of any degree seeking category.  The student must submit an essay between 500 and 1,000 words on any one of a list of choices.  Please view their scholarship page to learn more.
  • Business Plan Scholarship for Students with Disabilities - offers a $1,000 prize to any undergraduate student with a documented disability.  Additional application requirements can be found on their website.
  • Campus Explorer Exclusive Scholarship - Campus Explorer is a monthly $1,000 giveaway, designed to help students pay for their higher-education expenses.  Every month, Campus Explorer will announce a new scholarship - and a new way to win.  A winner will be randomly selected from the entrants.  Students must be enrolled in college for the current or following term, and are required to provide proof of enrollment.

  • Caring.com - Twice a year a scholarship worth $1500 is awarded to three student going to school while caring for an aging relative.  The deadline for the next scholarship award is June 30th.  Check out the website for details.

  • College Answer's Scholarship Resource Center - Get tips for a successful scholarship search & find out how to write a winning scholarship essay AND learn how to avoid scholarship scams.  Sallie Mae's free scholarship search engine provides access to an award database that contains more than 3 million scholarships, worth over $16 billion.  And just by registering, students will be automatically entered in a drawing for a $1,000 monthly scholarship giveaway.
  • College Prowler's $2,000 No Essay Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded to students monthly with the deadline being the last day of each month.

  • Constructors Association of Western Pennsylvania - Earn up to $10,000 by identifying and providing a written pictorial report for necessary transportation improvement projects in Pennsylvania.  This scholarship opportunity is funded by the Associated Pennsylvania Constructors' (APC) Highway Education Foundation to identify and report on needed transportation improvements in each of the 67 counties.  Scholarship information, along with the application can be found at www.paconstructors.org and www.cawp.org.
  • Deputy.com Scholarship for Women in Technology-This is one $1,000 scholarship awarded to a female working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in any technology field. Please click on the link for additional information.
  • Dumond's Custom Furniture-is offering a $1,000 scholarship to any student pursuing a degree in Arts. The deadline to apply is November 30, 2017 with the winner being announced at the end of December. Please click on the link for additional information. 
  • Education Advantage - The scholarship program developed and supported by Baxter for people of any age with hemophilia A.  If you're working toward your bachelor's degree, you could be eligible for up to $15,000 per year.  If you are a strong applicant but do not qualify for need-based aid, you may still be eligible for a merit-based scholarship of up to $1,000 per year.

  • The Guiding Light Scholarship gives opportunity to highlight the influential person in a student's life who has let them down the right path.  Every year in September a $500 scholarship will be awarded.  More information can be found on the website.

  • The mission of Kids' Chance of Pennsylvania, Inc. (Kids' Chance of PA) is to provide scholarship grants for college and vocational education to children of Pennsylvania workers who have been killed or seriously injured in a work-related accident resulting in financial need.  To find out if you are eligible or to apply for a scholarship, please visit the Kids' Chance website.
  • LA Tutors- is offering a monthly $500 scholarhsip. The deadline to apply is the 20th of each month. Please click on the link for additional eligibility requirements. 
  • Laser Spine Institute- is offering a $1,500 scholarship. This is an annual scholarship with the deadline to apply being June 15th of each year and the winner being selected August 1st. Please clink on the link for additional eligibility requirements.

  • MouseBeast.com- is offering a $1,500 scholarship. The deadline to apply is November 29, 2017 with the winner being selected on December 10, 2017. Please clink on the link for additional information. 
  • National Eagle Scout Association - There are two types of nationally awarded Eagle Scout scholarships.  One type is academic scholarships, which include a varying number of $3,000 scholarships awarded each year by the NESA. The other type of national Eagle Scout scholarship is the Hall/McElwain Merit Scholarship.  Each region reviews applications and awards a varying number of these $1,000 scholarships.  Visit the NESA scholarship site for additional information.
  • The New Beginnings Scholarship is available to high school and college students.  You must have a minimum of 2.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. A 250-word essay must also be submitted about your academic goals and your contributions to your school and/or community.  $500 is awarded on the 21st of each month.

  • QuitDay.org Scholarship is awarded to students each year who share their vision for a smoke-free world.  A total of $3,000 will be awarded to 3 students.  Application deadline is March 31st of each year.  Eligibility requirements and application details can be found on their website.

  • SeniorAdvice.com- is offering a $1,000 scholarship for any student who has helped care for an aging relative or volunteered at a non profit senior center. Please click on the link for additional details. 
  • Senioradvisor.com-is offering three $2,000 scholarships. Students must submit an essay to them by the deadline of December 31, 2017. Please click on the link for additional details.

  • Student Saver Scholarships - DegreeDirectory.org's $1000 scholarship is now open for autumn entries.  The application period closes on December 23rd at 5 PM Pacific time.  Students can apply for this scholarship by visiting the Facebook-powered entry form and answering the question, "How much did you pay for textbooks this semester?  What did you do to try to save on those costs?"  The Student Saver blog, DegreeDirectory.org provides students with advice about living frugally in college.
  • Surgent CPA Review- is awarding two scholarships to business students working on becoming accountants. A total of $4,000 will be awarded to three different winners. The winners will be judged by their academic merits and content of the essay provided.  The deadline for the Surgent CPA Review Scholarship is April 15, 2017 and the deadline for the Surgent Professional Education Scholarship is July 1, 2017.

  • U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship Program - One of the biggest challenges students face is how to pay for college.  U.S. Bank's Internet Scholarship Program can help.  U.S. Bank will award forty $1,000 scholarships through a random drawing process.  Undergraduates students attending an eligible four-year college or university are eligible to apply.
  • Varsity Tutors holds a monthly $1,000 college scholarship contest where students write an essay in response to a monthly prompt.  Visitors to the Varsity Tutors scholarship webpage are able to vote via social media for submitted entries.  The top five entries with the most votes are reviewed by Varsity Tutors at the end of the month and one winner is subsequently chosen to receive the $1,000 scholarship.  Interested persons can visit the website for contest information.
  • VeteranAid.org- is offering three $2,000 scholarships to any degree seeking student. You must submit a 500-750 word essay to be considered.   • Wootan Grant Program - Beginning April 17, qualified students may begin applying for TG's Charley Wootan Grant Program, which provides one-year grants of up to $4,000. TG will award nearly $5 million in need-based grants to eligible students attending or planning to attend 2-year technical or community colleges, 4-year colleges and universities, or those enrolled in teacher certification programs.  TG will award the grants on a first-come, first-served basis.  Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to qualify.  Questions about the program can be directed to the TG Charley Wootan Grant Program manager by email at Wootan@Scholarshipamerica.org, or by phone at (800) 537-4180.
