Dear Prospect:
Thank you for your interest into our cheerleading program at Juniata College. We consider our cheerleaders to be elite representatives and ambassadors to the respective student body. The expectations for our cheerleaders and our cheerleading program is consistent with that of our student athletes: to grow and mature emotionally, physically and academically so that we may have a positive and motivating impact on the future success of each individual professionally and socially.
The primary role of our cheerleaders is first and foremost to provide spirit and enthusiasm in support of Juniata College and its athletic teams. Equally important is our role to represent Juniata College, its student body, alumni, faculty and staff through community service. Thus, we are actively searching for diverse, outstanding student athletes with equally high standards and goals to serve as Juniata College cheerleaders.
Please take the time to complete the Recruit Questionnaire form, and return it to my office as soon as possible. This will ensure that you receive timely notice of try-out information as well as any other recruiting activities and/or requirements.
