Head Coach - Jon Cutright

"Success is measured in more ways than who finishes first. Juniata College is serious about its athletic programs, but we keep a proper perspective on why our student-athletes are here. Juniata coaches continue to care about our athletes even after graduation." - Juniata Men's and Women's Track and Field Coach Jon Cutright

Jon Cutright

Jon Cutright has been the Head Coach for the men's and women's track and field programs for 11 seasons.

Cutright also serves as the men's and women's cross country coach at Juniata. He is in his eighth season as the women's coach and his third as the men's mentor. In the fall of 1999, Juniata added men's cross country back into the program as a varsity sport and he assumed the head coaching duties for that sport. He was the assistant track and field coach for both the men and women for three years before moving up to the head post.

During the 2001 track and field outdoor season, the Juniata men placed fifth out of 11 squads at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) championship, while the women were fifth out of the 11 teams as well. This past fall (2001), the blue and gold women's cross country squad both took ninth place at the MAC championship.

Cutright is a 1992 graduate of Ohio University and he received his master's degree in athletic administration from the same institution in June of 1993.

He was a two-time letter winner in cross-country at Ohio U. and he also earned a monogram for track and field. He placed seventh in the 800 meters at the 1992 Mid-American Conference championship. Cutright is single and resides in Huntingdon.
