Bio

Amanda has added knowledge of the game to an already good arm and strong body. With more experience the sky is the limit for Amanda. She could easily be among the best middle hitters in the country this season.

2008: Played in 25 matches during her freshman season... racked up 115 kills (1.92 per set), and ranked seventh on the team in total kills... recorded three matches with 10-or-more kills, including a season high 13 kills against Penn State Altoona... hit .376 for the season... finished fifth on the team in total blocks with 40 (0.67 per set)... hit her high of seven total blocks against California (Pa.)... also tallied 20 digs over the course of the season.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Amanda earned All-State honors in 2006 and 2007 and All-Conference, All-County and All-District honors in those same years... named to the prestigious AVCA High School All-America team... played club volleyball for the Johnstown Fire Volleyball Club.
