Bio

Michelle versatility and ball control skills make her invaluable at the antenna hitting positions. She will be right in the middle of the action all of the time if this team is to reach its goals for the year.

2008: Fifth on the team in kills in 2008 with 162 (1.62 per set)... logged four matches with 10-or-more kills, including a career-high 14 kills on 33 swings (.394) versus Washington & Lee... turned up 208 digs, with a high of 14 against Penn State Altoona... recorded three service aces in the NCAA Juniata Regional final against Eastern, and her total of five aces in the Regional was best among all players in the tournament... had a season-high five total blocks in the NCAA national semifinal match against LaVerne... a Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll selection.

2007: Saw action in 24 matches last season off the bench... tallied 92 kills last season (2.36 per game), and was seventh on the team in total kills... matched her career-high of 13 kills in a three-game victory over Eastern University, her only double-digit kill performance of the season... recorded 65 digs and 10 blocks over 39 games, along with 12 service aces.

2006: Made the most of limited playing time by pounding out 97 kills and averaging 2.37 kills per game... notched 26 digs and 20 blocks during the campaign... six times during the season Morchesky played in at least three games in a match, and had at least seven kills in six of those seven... had a season-high 13 kills against Rutgers-Newark.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: A three-year letterwinner at Hempfield Area High School, helping the team to a state tournament appearance in 2004... also a member of the Renaissance Volleyball Club and the Pittsburgh Elite Volleyball Club.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Richard and Carrie Morchesky... POE is pre-med/biology at Juniata.
