2009 Eagle Cross Country Invitational

The 2009 Eagle Cross Country Invitational will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at the Fort Roberdeau Park, just outside of Altoona, Pa.
The course at Fort Roberdeau includes open fields as well as wooded trails, utilizing the existing nature trails surrounding the fort. The course is spectator-friendly, as approximately half of the course is visible from the start/finish area. It includes a 2.5 km loop which the women run twice and the men run three times. A feature of the course is the long gradual downhill approach to the finish.
