Why Study Accounting, Business, and Economics at Juniata?
Tricia Nagel '10 discusses the role of the Juniata College Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
- Juniata's seniors in business since 2002 have taken a nationwide assessment test, the Major Field Achievement Test, and on average have significantly outperformed students graduating from other institutions.
- In the past 16 years we have won 23 trophies in an intercollegiate case competition!
- Most students have at least one internship experience.
- In the past three years, Juniata students have:

- entered law school at Widener, Duquesne, Dickinson and George Washington
- begun their careers with national firms such as Deloitte and Touche, Nationwide Insurance, Raytheon and Kimberly-Clark
- accepted positions with numerous regional Certified Public Accounting firms, such as Rager, Lehman and Houck, P.C.
- During its five year history, Juniata's Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (JCEL) has assisted 9 student business ventures. Of those, 5 are still operating and have a presence on the Web.
- Strong study abroad relationships with universities in England, Greece, and Australia exist.
