All classes are open to the community and are filled on a first-come-first-served basis. Please see Enrollment Information to learn how to enroll your child!
Our adult:child ratios are well above those required by the PA Department of Welfare (our licensing entity) and NAEYC (our accreditation entity). The college practicum students not only help to increase the ratios but also positively add to the children's learning experiences and relationships.

Preschool Programs (maximum 20 children in each class)
The preschool programs for children ages 3 to 5 years,
meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9 to 11:30

enrolled in the afternoon may attend two or four days per week.
A typical preschool schedule consists of a group time, free choice

up, and active play inside and outside. Please see the Daily Schedules under Calendars. The preschool classes are blended with the Tuscarora Intermediate Unit Program (TIU) to provide an inclusive learning environment. Please see Early Intervention for more information.
May Program
After the last day of preschool in May, we offer a morning program for the rest of the month. This program was developed as a response to families' requests for more time in the Center for their children! It is open to children, 3 to 5 years old, who are already enrolled in one of the preschool programs. The class meets 9 to 11:30, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Along with the TIU staff, one of the Co-Directors and a teacher facilitate the program. Sign-up for this class occurs in April.
