How To Submit Questions and Story Ideas

Submitting News Stories
The Juniatian invites any member of the community to send news tips for potential articles to be written by the Juniatian staff.

Editors reserve the right to decide which tips are newsworthy for publication.

The Juniatian makes an effort to keep all articles timely. Check the production schedule to determine if your idea will be relevant for the next issue of the Juniatian.

Please submit news tips by e-mail to the Juniatian.

Letters to the Editor
The Juniatian accepts letters to the editor in response to articles and editorials that address the campus community. We strongly encourage students and faculty to write on any matter of concern or encouragement regarding the college and its community. The Juniatian is a forum for its readers.

The Juniatian will make every effort to print letters in their entirety. However, letters may be edited for length. Please try to keep the length at no more than 300 words. Letters will only be refused due to space limitations.

Letters will not be printed anonymously except in extreme situations per the editors' discretion. Even if a letter is printed anonymously, it must be submitted with a name so the editor can verify the source. When sending your letter, please note if you would like to be considered for anonymity, and an editor will contact you.

Letters may be e-mailed to the Juniatian or sent via U.S. Mail to:

Ask the Administration
The Juniatian accepts suggestions for the “Ask the Administration” column. Questions may be submitted to the Juniatian by US mail or e-mail. Editors will forward questions to the appropriate administrator anonymously. Questions for this section will be considered by the editors based on relevance to the campus community.

Prior Review
The Juniatian is not subject to review before publication by any members of the administration, faculty, or student body. The Juniatian has an extensive editing process that involves all staff members, editors, and the advisor.

In the event that factual information is printed incorrectly, a correction will be printed in the following issue. Information regarding factual errors should be submitted to the editors directly through e-mail.

Advertisements
The Juniatian advertising is handled by our printer, the Huntingdon Daily News. Contact them directly to place an ad in the Juniatian.
