Integrated Modules
Carsband/White Sands | Grand Canyon | Wrap-Up Module
Above to the left, you see a typical RFC classroom. Dr. Ryan Mathur takes time during the remaining daylight to teach us about the geology of the area at White Sands, NM. The lesson included ripples, gypsum, evaporation, and play-doh, among other things. Check out the RFC home page to see what happens at White Sands when the sun goes down.
To the right, you can see the entrance to Carlsbad Caverns, NM. This immense and beautiful cavern holds spectacular formations of stalactites, stalagmites, curtains, and popcorn formations (ask about them!).
