Blogging from Abroad
by Amy Hunt, '12
This year, you may not believe just how large the junior class of History students is, since many have chosen to study abroad. In the fall, two students traveled to England, two to Germany, and two to China. In the spring semester, one students will be heading to England, one to Northern Ireland, and one to The Gambia. Combine that with the places students chose to travel to last summer and school year -- Ecuador and Australia -- and the History Department can boast having had students on five continents (or six, if you also count North America) in the span of two years!
A lot of students these days blog about their time abroad: it's a great way to let family know how things are going, and to reflect on their experiences. It should come as no surprise, then, that this year a few Juniata students have set up blogs as well. If you're interested in peeking into the life of an Eagle abroad, look no further!
