Students will live in town in Regency Hall - a suite-style residence hall in which students have their own bedrooms plus a private bathroom and share a communal kitchen. The bedrooms are smaller than a typical Juniata residence hall room, so it's not recommended students overpack, but they are very comfortable. Things like towels, bed sheets, pots, and pans will be provided by BCA. While Regency Hall is not located within the University of Gloucestershire campuses, it is just a few blocks from Francis Close Hall campus and there are convenient bus routes that students can use to get to and from classes in any campus.
Students are given a card to buy meals on campus and are also given a stipend to purchase groceries. Stores such as Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Iceland, and Tesco are all in town and easy to get to. One of the best ways to make friends with your suite-mates is to cook together in the shared kitchen. It is common for British students to keep their doors closed, but it's not because they don't want to be your friend! They really do want to get to know you. This is just the "norm". So be sure to interact with them as much as possible.
