Brief Description of Program:

We will spend three weeks in The Gambia exploring topics such as: women’s rights, press freedom, economic development, health care, agricultural policy. The course combines pre-departure lectures at Juniata with lectures and excursions in The Gambia. This course will meet for one hour per week through the spring semester. The remainder of the course will be the three week trip to The Gambia.




4 (Course Distribution: I, S, CA) Register for PS 249 01 Senegambia I--(17129). The course combines a one credit spring semester course with the three credit summer trip.


Course fee is $3500 (Includes: Airfare, Housing, All Meals, Transportation in Africa, Field Trips, JC Credits)
