Program Costs for Guatemala
Cost for the 2008 Guatemala program is $ $1,700
Included
Tuition, home-stay, three meals daily with a local family, registration fee, transfer from the airport to Quetzaltenango, some local cultural excursions, local transportation allowance, two trips within Guatemala, repatriation insurance, orientation, and an international teacher ID card.
Not Included:
Round trip airfare from the U.S. and travel expenses in the United States, personal health and accident insurance (all participants are required to have insurance), personal travel, telephone calls, Internet cafes, passport fees, immunizations, additional meals, optional cultural courses, gifts, souvenirs, and teaching materials you purchase.
*Additional family members pay all travel expenses plus $50 per person a week to cover the cost of room and board, or they may participate in the program by paying the full program fee.
Scholarships:
All applicants teaching in high school will be considered for scholarship funding. Please inquire for further details. Those who receive a full scholarship will have their $300 program deposit refunded upon their return.
