Travel
- The Juniata campus is located in Huntingdon, a town in the central part of Pennsylvania.
- Larger cities like Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore are within a few hours drive of campus.
- The nearest commercial airport is the University Park Airport SCE in State College, a major university center 50 km away from Huntingdon.
- The Amtrak train passes through Huntingdon on its way to New York and Philadelphia to the East and Pittsburgh and Chicago to the West.
- The Greyhound bus line operates routes from State College.
There are opportunities to travel to larger and nearby cities with organized trips offered by professors, student organizations, and the Center for International Education. The Office of Student Activities sometimes offers a campus weekend shuttle service to State College.
The Dean of Students van service is offered to students to travel to and from the University Park Airport and the Greyhound bus station in State College and the Amtrak train station in Huntingdon during the break periods.
The staff of the Center for International Education will help students with travel plans and provides a pick-up service when students arrive for orientation to the University Park Airport SCE and the Greyhound bus station in State College and the Amtrak train station in Huntingdon.
