Maria Mercedes Querio
Maria Mercedes Querio is from Salta, a small but beautiful city in the northwest of Argentina. She is an ESL teacher, she got her degree in 2003 at "Profesorado Superior de Lenguas Vivas"(Teaching Trainning College) in Salta. While she was studying she was also giving private lessons in her house. Since 2003 she has been teaching in two schools and at a private institute with students from different ages. She was awarded with a Fulbright scholarship to teach her mother tongue here at Juniata. She is now making one of her dreams come true, to live in the United States and learn about the culture and traditions of Amercians and why not to share hers, as well. She is interested in sports and Literature, but she loves cooking. She also likes dancing and listening to different types of music.Once she returns to Salta she would like to continue her studies and go on working at the same places.
