The library guide to Philosophy
How to search for philosophy articles from the library for your research paper?
- Choose a topic and decide a tentative theme, and review related course material (especially the related philosophers' original works) on the topic.
- Search Philosopher's Index and/or Humanities Abstracts (from the library's website) to review the abstracts of the related papers on the topic (use the key word search function). Based on the abstracts, choose papers of interest.
- Locate the journals containing the full texts of the papers by searching from the library's A to Z Journals List for periodical titles that the library has (you can gain access to most journals electronically, and some are still in paper format).
